Ok this blog is pretty much over.

Update: I finished my internship, graduated college and now I'm still looking for a real job. I still have my part-timer, but my hours were drastically reduced after Christmas. So that brings me to....

Its only a very small portion of my photos right now. I intend on adding some graphic design to it as well...but there it is! Enjoy.

Wow its been over a month... I'm bad at this.

So I always check Blogspot, but to look at other peoples' blogs and I completely forget I have one of my own to update.

Well the internship is officially over as soon as I write this 2 page reflection paper that should have been turned in a few days ago....

I started an actual job about a month ago working at the South County Picture People. Its definitely not going to be a permanent job, but I'm still not really sure what kind of career path I want to pursue. I think its safe to say kid/family portraits will not be involved. But for now, its good experience and of course, it pays. And the people I work with are all fantastic and hilarious.

Very soon I will become an official college graduate!

Wowwy wow wowza! Its been a while! I keep forgetting to blog. Well, I remember, and then I don't feel like it, and then I forget again. So let's catch up!

well... this one is still in the works, so don't go looking for it online guuuyyyssss

And I finished editing Lindsay's pictures and thought I'd make a little trial-header for her blogski

This is what me and Gina do when we get "inspired"

ummm I think that's it! I'll attempt to edit more regularly from now on...maybe.

Shameless Plug: I gots me some TOMS shoes. "With every pair you purchase TOMS will give one pair of new shoes to a child in need. One for one" You should go check it out!
Read more about why shoes are so important (beyond the obvious).

"By trying you may fail others. By not, you fail yourself."

Hey heyyyy! More slides! But amusing ones :)

Yup, thats me! And that bag has a bra in it. Not mine...and I'm not actually donating it. bwahaha

hahahaha This makes me chuckle. I mean seriously, what do YOU think of when you think of a family choir? The von Trapps, of course!

And I did a fun little photoshoot the other day with the beautiful Lindsay for her blog, Girl With Blue Balloon

And I made this cover for an info packet...or booklet...or something

I got into a tiff with the vending machine today. It wouldn't give me my Milky Way. Jerk!

Strange Happenings

Poor Gina's back gave out on her so today I just went in and edited a baptism video that she was going to work on today. Video isn't really my thang, but its fun to do every once in a while. :)

I keep falling behind!

Another slide! Ok, confession. I do enjoy making slides. Its good practice to keep my photoshop skillz sharp and to learn more tricks of the trade.

And I think I already said this, but SCCC is revamping the youth department and our transitional phase is going to be called The 7. Its seven weeks where we break out into seven different small groups. And then after that seven weeks we start the new revamped youthiness.
But I worked on the logo and this is what I came up with:

without info

and with info

it reminds me of a combination of 7up and Tide....what do you think?

Whoops forgot to blog yesterday!

Not that anyone is really paying attention :P
Yesterday I made another, yup you guessed it, a slide!

(please don't email, I know you're tempted)
I also learned the process of recording the baptism videos and burned some more DVDs.

Its been a crazy week. First my CD drive and then my dog. We had to take her to the emergency vet Tuesday night and she needed emergency surgery for a thing called bloat (google it), but she should be coming home tonight! Let's look at a picture of Paige now:

She was barking at me. So cute.

Lots of exciting (and some not-so-exciting) things coming up! Our church is "revamping" most of the youth department and big changes are happening. It'll be great!
